1.6 To provide you with information services such as event promotions and product offers while ensuring your autonomous control over promotional content, we have added a marketing announcement type within the post-login announcement capability and provided an independent toggle for disabling marketing announcements in the notification settings. The specific rules are as follows:
(1) Announcement Types: In the announcement pop-ups displayed after you log into SOLARMAN Smart, announcements are divided into two types: general announcements and marketing announcements. General announcements cover service notifications, feature changes, privacy or agreement updates, and other content directly related to your use of the services; marketing announcements cover promotional content such as event promotions, product offers, and advertising.
(2) Settings Page: The original Notification Settings page has been renamed to Notification & Announcement Settings. While retaining the original setting for receiving APP notification messages, a new setting for receiving marketing announcements has been added. This setting is enabled by default; once disabled, the account will no longer display marketing announcements thereafter; general announcements will remain unaffected and will continue to be displayed according to the original announcement rules.
(3) Multi-Device Synchronization and Effectiveness Rules: The "Receive Marketing Announcements" setting status is saved at the account level and remains consistent when logging into the same account across multiple devices; if a user re-enables it after disabling, it will only take effect for subsequent marketing announcements, and marketing announcements already sent during the disabled period will not be re-delivered.
(4) How to Disable: If you do not wish to receive marketing announcements, you can directly turn off the "Receive Marketing Announcements" toggle in Menu → Settings → Notification & Announcement Settings. After disabling, we will no longer display marketing announcement pop-ups after you log in.
Legal Basis: Pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, the data subject has given clear consent to the processing of their personal data, and we process marketing announcement-related data based on user consent; Pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes, and upon objection, we will immediately cease such processing.
1.7 Pursuant to Article 6(1) of the GDPR, we may collect and use your personal information without your consent in the following circumstances:
a) Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;

To optimize display effects and performance, we collect information about the user device screen resolution and RAM (running memory). We will continuously upgrade technical measures to enhance the security of software installed on devices and prevent the leakage of personal information. For example, we will encrypt some information on your device to ensure data transmission security; collect installed applications or running processes on the device, or data stored in device memory, to prevent attacks from viruses, trojans, or other malicious programs or websites; analyze and use data such as unique device identifiers, login IP addresses, operation logs, and location information, and take measures or issue alerts to prevent illegal activities including online fraud, account theft, and impersonation, and to conduct security checks.
We have established relevant management policies, processes, and teams to ensure information security. For example, we strictly limit personnel who can access information, require them to comply with confidentiality obligations, and conduct personnel audits.
If an information breach or any other information security incident occurs, we will immediately respond to the incident to prevent it from worsening and further affecting more users, and will notify you of the incident by sending notifications or issuing announcements.
In terms of information security, SOLARMAN Smart has met and obtained ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 information security management system certifications.
We will take all possible technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but cannot guarantee that our measures will eliminate all security risks.
